The summer holidays are undoubtedly the period during which we are the most inclined to well-being. First, because we can finally release the pressure as for the daily obligations. Then, because it is finally possible to live at your own pace, and take the time to do what you like. Finally, because the sun helps our body feel better and that it activates a state of natural well-being.
But, it is clear that once the holidays are over, this summer zen finally dissipates, sometimes to the point of disappearing completely.
The sophro boost during the summer break
Sophrology on vacation for:
- Mentally let go: take advantage of this period to learn how to detach yourself from what stresses you out usually. As soon as a parasitic thought or an unpleasant emotion arises, imagine dislodging it with a deep, abdominal inspiration. Then breathe slowly as if to move it as far away from you as possible.
- Relax your body: the moments of lazing by the beach are perfect for recharging your batteries. Take the opportunity to relax all the muscles of the body, from the top of the head to the tips of the toes. Imagine the relaxation settling a little more intensely with each sound of the wave (or with each breath).
- Be fully present:enjoying your vacation is also being attentive to what is happening around you. Take advantage of the pleasant surroundings that surround you to review each of your senses (eyes, hearing, smell, touch or even taste). Be attentive to the elements that are sources of well-being : vegetation, sound of water, scent of iodine or sunscreen, ambient heat… Then, become aware of the positive feelings they give you in the moment.
Repeat the exercises regularly throughout the year and immerse yourself in your vacation memories to reactivate this zenitude.
