Either you are already a fan of hair oils or you are afraid to use them. This fear will go away once you find the ideal oil for your hair. Applied before shampooing, they nourish and repair the hair fiber. It is possible to mix several products. Here are the main ones, to give you some clues:
Thick, frizzy or curly hair
Jojoba oil and coconut oil help nourish, repair, and smooth hair by regulating sebum production. To use them as a conditioner, just pour the oil of your choice into your hands, then rub them to get it on your fingers. Twist each section of hair, or “rake” with your fingers, going from the roots to the end. This technique allows giving a particular texture to the hair by hydrating it. They will thus be shiny and supple.
As a nourishing mask, apply oil to the hair, insisting on the ends. Wrap a damp towel over your head, and leave it on overnight. In the morning, wash the hair by doing two shampoos.
Thin or thin hair
In order not to weigh down fine hair, the best solution is to use “dry” oil, as it quickly penetrates the skin and hair instead of coating them. Applied to wet hair before letting it air dry, they help showcase their natural movements. Applied to dry hair, they add texture and shine.
All hair types
Any oil can be used as a mask to repair hair. You can sleep with it, or apply it 10 minutes before entering the shower, or while you are making dinner. These little moments of the day give your hair a boost, thanks to these natural products. Rinse your hair with hot water to open up the outer layer, squeeze out excess water and apply a generous amount of oil to all hair. Distribute evenly using a wide-toothed comb, wrap your head in a towel or shower cap, and leave it on overnight before washing it off thoroughly the next morning. Then admire the result.
