• Against sunburn
mix 10 drops of lavender aspic essential oil with 15 ml of Calendula oily macerate. Pour everything into a pump bottle. Apply this mixture on sunburns and heated areas. In case of deep sunburn, consult a doctor.
• In case of superficial burn
Apply 2 drops of lavender aspic essential oil on the burn 3 to 4 times a day. Repeat the operation until healing.
• In case of small wound
Place 2 drops of lavender aspic essential oil on top, 3 to 4 times a day until healing. In case of extensive burn, seek medical advice.
• On a light bulb
Place 2 drops of lavender aspic essential oil on the ampoule, repeat the operation 3 to 4 times a day until healing
• Against itching (skin problems, dermatoses)
mix 35 drops of lavender aspic essential oil with 9 m of Calendula oily macerate. Pour into a glass bottle fitted with a codigoutte. Apply a few drops to the affected area twice a day for a few days.
• To improve a scar
Mix 3 ml of Lavender aspic essential oil with 15 ml of Rosehip vegetable oil. Pour into a glass bottle fitted with a codigoutte. Apply 2 to 4 drops of the mixture to the scar morning and evening, 5 days a week. Good to know: improvement can take several months.
• Against muscle pain, cramps, contractures
Mix 5 drops of lavender aspic essential oil in 1 teaspoon of apricot vegetable oil. Apply this mixture in gentle friction on the affected areas.
• Against headaches
Apply 1 drop of lavender aspic essential oil to the temples and the nape of the neck. Be careful not to put it too close to the eyes! Repeat the application 1 to 3 times a day depending on the pain.
• Against chapping, cracks
Mix 20 drops of lavender aspic essential oil in 15 ml (or 1 tbsp) of wheat germ vegetable oil. Pour into a glass bottle fitted with a codigoutte. Apply a few drops of the mixture to the crack or crevice, 2 to 3 times a day.
• To treat acne
Mix 1 drop of lavender aspic essential oil in a dab of neutral cream and apply on acne pimples.
What precautions should be taken with lavender aspic essential oil?
- Avoid contact with eyes, the mucous membranes, the nose, the ears.
- Store the essential oil away from light and some heat.
- Its use is limited to one occasional use, a few days maximum.
- Lavender aspic essential oil is generally used diluted on the skin, in a vegetable oil or in a cream. For very localized use, it can be used pure at a rate of only 1 or 2 drops.
