Certain products buried deep in our cupboards can prevent and fight against the first signs of onychomycosis (nail fungus). How to use them?
Certain types of microscopic fungi can infect fingernails, and especially feet, causing what is called onychomycosis. This infection is manifested by stinging, irritation, peeling of the skin, and redness. The nail becomes darker, thicker and it weakens.

The antifungal compounds in garlic help treat nail fungus.
Mix a crushed garlic clove with white vinegar and apply the mixture to the infected area, then cover it with a bandage for a few hours. Repeat each day until the infection is gone.
Coconut oil to overcome onychomycosis naturally?
To prevent the progression of a nail fungus (but also that of a yeast infection of the skin, mouth or genitals), coconut oil can also be an interesting alternative.
Mix 30 ml ofcoconut oil with 30 drops of tea tree, lemongrass and Ceylon cinnamon essential oil. Apply the mixture twice a day until improvement.
